Community Information
Aloha
is a small community located five miles outside of Beaverton in unincorporated
Washington County,
nationally recognized as one of the most livable areas in the country.
It is home to more than 40,000 people and continues to experience rapid
growth. Aloha has a great deal to offer its residents: the majestic beauty
of the Upper Willamette Valley and the Cascade Mountain Range, access
to a thriving metropolitan area, excellent schools and a strong business
community. This part of the Tualatin Valley is home to some of the largest
high-tech and industrial companies in the world. One of Intel’s
seven Oregon campuses is located in Aloha, employing a large number of
area residents. While the area is known as the Silicon Forest, it is
also the home to miles of rivers, trails, bike paths and Oregon's world
famous wine country. Aloha is located just off Farmington Highway, approximately
15 miles to the west of Portland at the northern end of the Willamette
Valley. The Washington County lines embrace the Tualatin Valley, a rich
agricultural belt lying between the coastal mountains and the West Hills
of Portland. To the east is the Cascade Mountain Range, and to the west
is the Coast Range. The Pacific Ocean is 86 miles due west from nearby
Beaverton, the county's largest city. The real estate market is diverse
and affordable.
