Amity, Oregon.
A small community in Yamhill County, named after the amicable resolution
of a dispute over schools. Oregon pioneers founded the community around 1850.
It is in the heart of Oregon's Wine Country.
The community lies on Highway 99W and is a few miles south of McMinnville.
Amity is part of the Portland-Vancouver, Oregon-WA metro area.
