Tualatin,
OR Website
Tualatin has a vibrant suburban setting a short 10 miles from Portland.
We have a lot to be proud of, from tree-lined streets and lush inviting parks
to a productive business community. Tualatin still maintains a small town
feel that about 24,000 residents call home.
Tualatin is a progressive community where planning for the future is a
priority. Community leaders are working together to direct growth, while
preserving the city's unique history and culture. Known as Tree City, USA,
the National Arbor Day Foundation recognizes the community for its commitment
to planting and maintaining trees.
Each summer the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Crawfish
Festival. A big community-wide party and celebration complete with a parade,
activities in the park and good food. Also in the summer the community
presents Concerts on the Commons. A showcase for local artists that also
highlights the main attraction of the downtown area, the Tualatin Commons.
Tualatin is a great place to work, play and call home. Please feel free
to browse our Web site and ask questions. Better yet, come visit us and
enjoy all the community has to offer.
